“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.” —Friedrich Nietzsche
My music is simple and direct. The songs are about my life journey and the truths I have come to embrace. Looking back now, it seems that I've lived several lives (in different places and with different priorities). For sure, nothings stays the same. —Rich DuBose
My new album, "Have Mercy" (a collection of 10 songs) is now available on Amazon, iTunes, CD Baby, and most streaming services, including Spotify.
Several of the songs reflect on what's happening today in our country and the world. The song, "The Other Man" imagines what it would be like if we couldn't trust other people. The political landscape is ugly because we have gone from doing what's best for us (as a shared community), to doing what's best for ME.
Words matter, whether you're a preacher, politician or reporter. If you are not one of these they still matter because we all have influence with a tribe of people who call us "friend." Make it count for good!
I'm a proud sponsor of Children's International Care. We can't save the world, but we can make a difference in one child's life. Learn what you can do.
